Group Time – Children learn letter sounds, sign language, numbers, English and Spanish vocabulary, colors, shapes, calendar, weather, and patterns. There are also stories and group games.
Table Work Time – Children do work sheets to reinforce letters, numbers and writing skills.
Free Choice Time – Children practice fine motor and large motor skills, engage in imaginative play, create art, and learn socialization skills.
Outdoor Time– Activities during this time are set up to encourage the use of large muscles. Helping to develop large muscles while young is important for walking, running, bike riding, etc., later on in life.
Clean Up Time – An important time for children to learn to pick up after themselves. They also learn that there is a special place for every toy.
Nap – This time is set aside for the children to listen to some soft music, and backs are rubbed. The children will sleep the full two hours to have plenty of energy for the afternoon.
